1 John gets the spotlight tonight. The continuity between "1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched - this we proclaim concerning the Word of life; John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; and Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created..." is gorgeous, and a very poetic way to frame God, eternity, Jesus, and God's creation throughout the course of the Bible.
